In Scotland… 

  • Over 24,000 young people developed their skills with us over the last three years. 
  • 81% of local authority areas deliver Leadership Skills Foundation programmes. 
  • 300,000 hours of leadership development and learning were delivered in the last year. 

Our programmes align with the Scottish Government’s Curriculum for Excellence, developing successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors. 

We work closely with the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) to credit rate several of our programmes so that they appear on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) and attract Insight Tariff points. 

From the start of the programme to the end, the change in learners is like night and day. Some might not feel confident enough to speak at the beginning of the course and by the end they don’t want to leave. They build their social skills and confidence, and truly come out of their shells.

We aim to support as many learners as possible, and welcome enquiries on how centres can give access to everyone, including learners with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). All of our programmes can be delivered in a range of environments, and requirements for evidence of learning and assessments can be adapted to meet the needs of your learners.
